Equations in the industry change faster than you can say Bollywood, and the latest we hear, only seems to affirm that perception. Arjun Kapoor and Ranveer Kapoor had become fast friends when they started work together on Gunday. But if what sources from the sets narrate is to be believed, then the two have now become firm rivals. And the bone of contention, so as to speak, is Ranveer’s former gal pal Anushka Sharma.
Now we hear that although Ranveer and Anushka are no longer quite the cosy twosome, the former is still very protective of his Band Baaja Baarat co-star. And that when Ranveer heard that Anushka and Arjun were spotted spending time together on Valentine’s Day, he wasn’t pleased at all. Ranveer reportedly had a loud verbal spat with Arjun over this. “The spat happened on the sets of Gunday. Ranveer, who is otherwise known to be very charming and polite, seemed enraged. He was overheard threatening Arjun,” says one witness.
Our source adds that the incident occurred while the team was in Kolkata for an outdoor shoot. “Priyanka Chopra was present too at the time of the incident, but she chose to stay out of the mess. Ranveer and Arjun have put up a professional front for the world, but as of now, they aren’t on talking terms,” our source adds.
