Arshadmeets His Fans

Arshad Warsi, still smarting from the critical and commercial drubbing that his latest film, Zila Ghaziabad, has received, had some sweet solace recently. When Arshad and his co-star Madhuri Dixit Nene touched down at Lucknow airport, the pair was mobbed by manic fans in minutes. Madhuri and Arshad are in the city to shoot for their film Dedh Ishqiya. “Arshad isn’t going through the best phase in his career, so for him to see all those fans, just waiting for a glimpse of him was a sweet moment indeed. As soon as the fans spotted him, they began calling out ‘Fauji Bhai’, his character’s name in the first Ishqiya film. Arshad also posed for photos with fans,” says one unit member who was present at the scene.
